RRC Policy - Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

It is my endeavour to help you have a convenient, seamless and hassle-free purchasing experience. Due to the nature of services, there is no return of the services and sessions purchased through my website. Further, policies may be different based on the service itself. Please read all refund and cancellation-related policies to the product or service, before paying, as this policy will also apply in the case of any instances where a rescheduling or cancellation of a session is requested.

1. Payments:

1.1. All services offered by Priyam Sharma Therapy are offered on a fixed/flat fee basis and are not subject to any deductions, negotiations or sliding scale. 

1.2. A “Session”, “Appointment” or “Consultation” means a professional service provided by Priyam Sharma Therapy, whereby I engage in a scheduled meeting or discussion with the client for the purpose of offering advice, guidance, or information on a specific matter within my area of expertise. The consultation session may be conducted through video conferencing, in person, or any other earlier agreed-upon method of communication. The price will have been communicated prior to the session. The duration and timing of the session will also be pre-determined.

1.3. Sessions must be booked minimum 24 hours in advance.

1.4. Please only pay for the number of sessions booked.

1.5. Sessions are confirmed post payment confirmation only. Please make the payment at the time of booking the session. In the event of non-payment at the time of booking, I reserve the right to cancel any unpaid booking and make the slot available on the calendar again for other clients, at my discretion.

2. Clock Policy:

2.1. The billing of the session begins at the predetermined time of the appointment. I suggest filling the intake form and completing related paperwork well in advance of the first session to avoid wastage of session time. Please be ready for the session at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled session time. I will be unable to offer any adjustments due to late or no arrival.

3. No Shows:

3.1. Refunds shall not be offered to “no-shows”. Individuals who do not show up for their appointment at the pre-booked time will be considered a no-show. This is final and binding, and there are no exceptions

3.2. In the context of online sessions, a “no-show” refers to a client who does not sign into or join or initiate the online meeting (such as Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp Videocall) during the entire session. I will wait for the complete duration of the session, and you are free to choose how you show up in that time. I will not be able to extend the session time or duration.

4. Rescheduling & Changes:

4.1. If you wish to make changes to the timing of the session you have booked and paid, you need to Go to the 'My Bookings' tab under your account and use the reschedule option on the website. You need to make such a change at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session time.

4.2. Making a change to the timing of the session less than 24 hours before the scheduled session time is not possible, so you can either attend the session at the predetermined time, or I will consider it a no show and treat it accordingly. 

4.3. When a session is rescheduled, the new session can be booked at any point within 1 month from the time of the original session, based on availability of slots. It cannot be carried over beyond that point, and the entire session fees will be forfeited (No refund will be provided).

4.4. Cancellations are not possible less than 24 hours before session time and refunds will not be issued. Cancellations more than 24 hours before session time are possible, but serial or repeated cancellations will not be entertained.

4.5. In case you reach out to me for a reschedule, cancellation or change, outside of my work hours, the timestamp on your email or WhatsApp text will be treated as the time the request was made, and will be processed on the next working day.

5. Refunds

5.1. Refunds will be furnished in case the session is cancelled by Priyam Sharma Therapy, AND if a reschedule is not possible.

5.2. Customers requesting serial or repeated refunds may be blocked from making further appointments.

5.3. For claiming a refund, the Customer should first ensure they are eligible for a refund as per this RRC Policy, AND necessarily have the valid invoice of the session booking, Appointment ID, Proof of Payment & ID documents of the customer who is seeking a refund, so as to be able to get the refund.

5.4. Refunds will usually be processed in 7 business days to the source account (whenever possible), after deducting relevant transaction fees and other charges, where applicable.

6. Other Charges

6.1. Processing, Booking, Internet Handling and/or Convenience Fees, Cash Handling Fees, Late Fees, Overtime Charges,  and Service Charges are completely nonrefundable.
